Total Welding Consumables Demand Volume In 2017 (Calendar Year) In Japan Is Forecast To Be Up By 0.2% In The Previous Year Cross-product Ratio Amounting To 264,010 Tons

　 Looking at the demand volume of welding consumables by industries, the welding industry in last year seems to have undergone a transition in a different situations depending on the industry such as the cases in which steel/bridge marked down by approximately 11.5% from the previous year, a little over approximately 5% down in shipbuilding, approximately 12% down in automobile/vehicle, approximately 9.5% down in industrial machines including construction machines, approximately 4.4% down in pipes/steel pipes, approximately a little over 6% down in other sectors.
Looking at the demand volume in 2016 about by types of welding consumables, flux-cored wires make a good show amid a stringent situation for shipbuilding/steel/bridges fields marking by 5.6% down over-on-year which recorded the least drop rate, solid wires for gas shield welding struck by 13.8% down, recording by 8.8% down in submerged welding wires/flux, by 7.6% down in coated electrodes, etc., which resulted in falling short of (forecast) the previous year in all figures.
